ADMISSIONS

When is registration? How does it work?

Online registration for the 2026 – 27 school year will open at 8am on Monday, 2/1/2027. Registration for new families starts two weeks after registration for current families. Typically, we fill all available spots on the first day of registration for new families, so it is important to register on this day. You will have three options on the registration form: Summer 2027, School Year 2027 – 28 or Both Summer & School Year. The registration form will also ask you for basic information about your child, including name, date of birth, gender, as well as schedule and campus preferences and your reasons for wanting your child to attend SWS.

New families will receive email confirmations about student enrollment no later than Friday, 3/19/27. If we are not able to offer a spot at that time, we will extend an invitation to join our wait list.

How does SWS select who gets a spot?

Spots are determined mostly by schedule availability, as well as other factors such as birth date and gender. It is common for us to have more part-time spots available than full-time spots. We always encourage families to accept a part-time spot and be placed on our internal wait list for a full-time spot. More times than not, we are able to accommodate a family’s request within a few months.

If I accept a spot at one campus but prefer another, can I be placed on a wait list to change campuses during the school year?

No. Once you accept a spot at one campus, you will not be able to apply to change campuses until the next school year. We do not maintain an internal wait list for location changes.

If we aren’t offered a spot, are there any other opportunities for my child to be a part of SWS?

Yes! We offer a Children’s Program for students ages 3 – 5th grade who are not enrolled in our regular school program. Children’s Program classes are held once a week and introduce basic Spanish vocabulary through fun, game-centered activities. Classes are held each Fall, Spring and Summer semester. More information can be found about the Children’s Program on our website.

Is tuition due even during the months of holidays?

Yes. Tuition remains the same each month.

When is SWS closed?

Typically, SWS closes for Labor Day, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Independence Day.

Additionally, we are closed for one week during Thanksgiving, two weeks during Winter Break and one week for Spring Break. We are closed for professional development the week before the new school year starts in August. All dates are published on the school calendar prior to the start of the school year, so that families may plan accordingly.
