2026 Summer Camp
Summer camp sessions are offered for students entering 1st – 5th grades. Camps are delivered 100% in Spanish. Students will participate in 2 camp sessions each week (morning & afternoon). Camps run for one week and focus on a particular subject, including arts, sports, science, academics, and more. All camps are held at the elementary campus at 7159 E. Grand Ave.
Registration fee: $50 (non-refundable)
Camp tuition: $400/week (9am – 4pm)
*Weeks 3 & 5 are 4-day sessions due to Juneteenth and Independence Day holidays. Tuition will be prorated to $320 for these weeks.
Extended care: $50 (8 – 9am & 4 – 5:30pm)
Refund policy: Cancellations must be submitted in writing to grand@spanishworldschool.com at least 2 weeks prior to start date of camp sessions in order to process tuition refunds. The one-time registration fee is not refundable.

2026 Camp session descriptions:
Alebrijes: This traditional Mexican art form has gained world-wide popularity in recent years, and it’s easy to see why! The striking colors and detailed patterns of alebrijes combine nature and fantasy in a unique and beautiful way. Campers will create their own alebrije sculptures out of paper- mâché, paint, and their own imaginations.
Basketball: Grab your sneakers and let’s hoop en español. Campers will hone basic skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting while also working on more advanced offensive and defensive techniques. Each day will include warm-up, stretching, indoor and outdoor activities, obstacle courses, themed games, and team play.
Camp Crafts: Let’s create! Students will get crafty creating pieces such as bracelets, keychains, and small paintings to take home. They will strengthen their fine-motor skills, focus, and self-expression.
Camp Tech Jr.: Campers will participate with hands-on activities, basic coding, and open-ended STEM challenges. They’ll create, design, and exercise their problem-solving skills. Each activity will be designed to inspire curiosity and spark campers’ imaginations!

Computer Science Lab: This all-day tech camp is aimed toward campers entering 3rd –5th grade. Campers will create technology projects and more advanced activities such as programming, video game creation, coding challenges, working with Bloxels, and 3D design.
Creators Camp: We can build it! Campers will use their imagination skills and a variety of materials to design and create different products and structures. Working together, campers will solve any design challenges they come across.
Fashion: Explore the world of fashion by creating your own original pieces with unconventional materials. Campers will be asked to bring an item from home and enhance it by channeling their inner fashionista!
FUNdamentals: Get ready for the upcoming school year with our FUNdamentals camp. This camp is perfect for students returning to dual-language elementary programs, as we will sharpen campers’ reading, math, and focus through mini-projects, games, and other fun activities.
Jr. Scientist: Campers will explore the fundamentals of science and the scientific method. With a variety of hands-on experiments and interactive games, campers will learn about the elements, matter, and other fun facts. In this camp, campers will also investigate and experiment to understand changes in physical properties.
Latin Dance: Bring on the energy! In this camp, students will explore different modern dance rhythms, focusing on learning basic choreographies that blend urban and Latin rhythms. Students will build coordination, confidence, and creativity while celebrating fun music from different cultures.
LEGOS: Campers will exercise their imagination skills all in one place with our colorful LEGOS camp. We will work and build on creativity, problem solving, critical thinking skills, and cooperation in order to use LEGOS to build solutions to various engineering design challenges.
Magazine Making: Let’s create our own magazine! Campers will investigate what it takes to create a magazine then brainstorm concepts, titles, visuals, and content for their own authentic magazine, which they will create as a group.
Pottery: Explore the world of pottery in this hands-on, fun filled camp! Campers will learn basic clay techniques like hand-building, sculpting, and glazing to create their own unique masterpieces. This camp encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and self-expression—all while getting a little messy and having a lot of fun!
Scrapbook: In this creative and hands-on camp, young artists will design their very own scrapbook filled with special memories! Campers will learn fun techniques like page design, decorating, and journaling to bring their photos to life. Campers will be asked to bring 10–15 photos from home to use in their personalized scrapbook. By the end of the week, they’ll have a beautiful keepsake to cherish forever!
Soccer: Students will sharpen basic skills of soccer including passing, dribbling, ball control, and, of course, shooting! The day will include games, drills, sportsmanship and teamwork. To improve strength and flexibility, each day will include warm-up, stretching, indoor and outdoor activities, obstacle courses, and themed games.
¡Soy Artista!: Delve into the wonderful world of art, where campers will learn about different artists and study and apply elements of color, drawing, and painting. Campers will have fun creating a final painting inspired by the world’s most famous artists!
Summer Fun Camp: It’s summertime and that means FUN! Join our summer Spanish Fun Camp for Spanish-language games, music, arts & crafts, and more. Campers will want to bring a swimsuit for our splash day. Indoor and outdoor activities will keep campers busy throughout the week.
Theatre: It’s showtime! Campers will learn how to put on a theater production from start to finish. Elements like set design, costumes, lighting and sound, and acting will be explored in a fun, interactive way.
Tie-Dye: Let’s get groovy! Join our Tie-Dye Camp for a week full of colorful designs, arts & crafts, and tie-dye items to take home. Students will learn color theory and apply their learning in multiple mini-projects.
Volleyball: Serve! Campers will sharpen basic skills of volleyball including serving, passing, blocking, and spiking! Each day will include warm-up, stretching, indoor and outdoor activities, themed games, and team play.
